I'm a geek. I generally have an idea or opinion about any subject. That's how I work. Whether I know exactly what's going on or not, I can usually relate it to something that I do have knowledge about, on some level, and then form an understanding of the topic. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know something about a particular subject, but I generally have a wide variety of experience with enough different topics that I'm able to come up with a cohesive understanding of most concepts in a very short period of time. If a subject is interesting to me, I will find out more about it. Ask my parents. Yes, I'm being facetious! ;-)
So anyway, this is who I am. So, why does that give me license to go around and spout my opinion about any subject I want? It doesn't really, but if people are willing to read about what I have to say, then I'm going to write about it. Welcome to freedom of speech.
I will warn you, however, that my sense of humour may be weird, subtle, low-brow or somewhat poor at times. Oh well, that's just who I am.
